The staff nurse is a registered professional nurse who administers skilled
nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing service and teaches
and supervises the family and other members of the nursing team. Each staff
nurse performs nursing services for residents within a specific area. These
services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and under
the direction and supervision of the Administrator.

The licensed graduate practical nurse provides nursing care and teaching
to patients and families. He/She also functions as an assistant to the
physician and registered professional nurse, and is supervised by the RN.

The physical therapist is a qualified professional person who directs,
supervises, evaluates and provides physical therapy services to patients
in the home as prescribed by the attending physician.

The speech pathologist/audiologist is a qualified professional person who
directs, supervises, evaluates and provides speech therapy services to
patients in the home as prescribed by the attending physician.

The occupational therapist is a qualified professional person who directs,
supervises, evaluates and provides occupational therapy services to patients
in the home as prescribed by the attending physician.

The medical social worker is a qualified professional person who provides
medical social services to patients in the home with the physician's orders
and under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or appropriate supervisor.

The home health aide provides personal care and related services in the
home. He/She functions under the direction, instruction and supervision
of the staff nurse and the Administrator.

The personal care aide is a non-professional employee, trained to provide
personal care and related services in the home. He/she functions under
the direction, instruction and supervision of the staff nurse and the Administrator.
